ABOUT liiyo

From bubblegum optimist TO THE ANTAGONIST OF POP.

Liiyo is a British-Irish-Caribbean singer-songwriter hailing from Huddersfield, UK. With a rich musical tapestry woven from reggae, rock, R&B, soul, and pop, he’s never been afraid to challenge the status quo.

Known for always being congenial, both personally and professionally, Liiyo’s journey is about embracing his true voice—and sometimes, that means being the antagonist in a world where he’s often underestimated.

Since debuting as the lead vocalist of a pop group in 2016, Liiyo’s sound has evolved—his solo singles like Bad Reaction’, "RED LIGHT” and ‘Dizzy’ have sparked strong reactions, echoing his refusal to conform. Performing across iconic UK venues like the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland, he’s been steadily carving his space. Now based in Hong Kong, Liiyo is closer than ever to his expanding global fanbase, with support pouring in from Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and Indonesia as well as the u.k, usa, germany and many other european countries.

His humble beginnings and outsider mentality have only fueled his resolve—proving that success isn’t reserved for the few, and that staying true to yourself is the real power move. Supported by those who believe in him, Liiyo continues to push boundaries, redefine his sound, and make an impact.

His mantra? “Don’t count out the big boy—big boys can go hard too.”
